Our Girls on Bikes and Girls on Boards classes are a dynamic, inclusive, and empowering program designed for P3+ girls to be part of the skateboarding and cycling world.

 

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, these classes are created to help you build confidence, have some fun and make friends.

Skateboarding is all about confidence, freedom, and fun—and we’re here to help you build both your skills and your self-assurance.

 

What You’ll Learn:

  • The Basics: Get comfortable on the skateboard—how to stand, push, and stop safely.

  • Balance and Control: Master balance exercises that help with stability and control while skating.

  • Turning and Maneuvering: Learn to carve, turn, and navigate different surfaces and obstacles.

  • Tricks and Stunts: Start with basic tricks like ollies, kickflips, and grinds, progressing to more advanced moves.

  • Skate Park Etiquette: Understand the culture, rules, and respectful behavior at local skate parks.

  • Building Confidence: Learn to take risks, face challenges, and push your limits in a supportive, fun environment.

Girls on Bikes

We want to empower young women to ride, explore, and enjoy the freedom that comes with cycling and that starts with girls and a supportive community. Cycling is more than just a sport—it's a fun and exciting way to explore your world, stay fit, and gain confidence.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Bike Basics: Get familiar with your bike, how to properly adjust it, and basic maintenance skills.

  • Pedalling & Braking: Learn how to pedal effectively, brake safely, and navigate different terrains.

  • Riding Techniques: Master essential cycling techniques and skills, such as controlling speed and BMX racing.

  • Cycling Fitness: Build stamina and strength through games and fun fitness challenges.

  • Confidence on Wheels: Gradually build your confidence to ride longer distances, participate in group rides, or even try competitive cycling!
